Bagpipes Hidecraft publishes hand-stitching technique and reference data. This page explains what is collected when you read it, and what is not.

What we collect

This is a static site. There is no account system, no comment form, no newsletter and no checkout, so there is no place for you to give us personal data and we do not ask for any.

Standard server logs record the page requested, the time, the referring page, the browser user-agent string and an IP address. Logs are kept for up to 30 days for security and capacity planning, then deleted.

Advertising and Google AdSense

This site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google uses advertising cookies — including the DoubleClick DART cookie — to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and other sites on the internet. We do not sell personal information. Advertising cookies set by third-party vendors may constitute sharing under the CPRA; you can opt out of this through the consent panel or through Google Ads Settings. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

External links and children

Work orders occasionally link to a tool supplier or to reference material on another site. Those sites have their own privacy practices and we have no control over them.

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
